I had the pleasure of photographing Brittany and Wade this Saturday. Unfortunately, it was a very gloomy day. I think we got some good shots though and thought I would share with you all. And also give them a sneak peek since this is a holiday week and I won't be able to get their gallery up until after the weekend.

Oh my gosh! It's been a long time since I've blogged. Someone slap my hands, please!!!
We are slowly settling in here in Temple. So far, so good!
Now, on to some new things! I am going to be doing a casting call/fresh faces campaign!! I'll be looking for newborns, maternity, tots, couples, AND a few married brides! Keep an eye on my blog because my campaign and conditions will be posted this week!!!

I just love newborns! This is CC. His family has been to MWP before and I was lucky enough to shoot the family again!
So, I told you all I had some big news. And well, here goes....
Mellanie and her family, along with Mellanie White Photography are moving to the big state of Texas. Temple, Texas to be exact. My husband, Mike recently received his PhD and has accepted a job with the USDA. We are really excited yet nervous. It'll be a big move for us and hopefully a permanent one. We have made Stillwater our home since 1997 and what a home it has been. We've met some wonderful people here and will definitely miss everyone of you.
As for my clients, past, present, and very near future....well, I am going to miss you all! I'm going to miss seeing all the babies growing up. I always love when you all book a second or third session or when I see you out about town. Seeing your babies getting bigger reminds me of my little ones. Sigh....
We are in the process of getting our house on the market and will most likely be moving towards the end of June. We need to be in Temple before the Fourth of July.

Now, I leave you with a recent session. B and C were just the best and I really love this session! I hope their mommy stops by to see me in Texas so I can have another session with them!
Wow! So much has gone on since the last time I blogged. I promise I will become I better blogger. I just have so much going on professionally and personally that I just can't seem to bring myself to blog!
Many things happening at Mellanie White Photography. In the next few weeks I will be making a big announcement and I know many of you won't be too happy about it! :( Let's just say it involves my family and the big state of Texas.
I want to take a moment and congratulate the "P"'s on their new addition! I bet "T" is just as cute as his sister and I can't wait to meet him! We're going to have some fun and try lots of new things!
Oh wow! I can't believe that it has been so long since I updated this blog! I told myself I would never get this behind when I started, but alas, it looks like it has happened. November was a crazy month both at home and at Mellanie White Photography.
With the changing seasons comes the yucky colds and runny noses! Seems like someone is always sick in my household. My husband has also been working on graduating with his PhD this semester so between that and the illnesses, I just can't get ahead!
For those of you waiting on deliveries, expect a call this week or early next week!

This little 6 monther is a mover and a shaker! She can sit up, crawl and even pull herself up!!! My poor son is 3 days younger than A and he's still a belly boy!! V, it was a pleasure meeting you and your 3 adorable children! Here is a sneak peek to your proofs! I'll have the rest ready sometime next week!! 
This girl is just gorgeous! The camera just loves J. Check out her beautiful eyes and smile. I'll have your photos ready by Monday evening! Anticipate my call!

This lil guy knew how to work the camera. He stayed awake THE. WHOLE. TIME. :) But every time he saw my lens in his face, he'd turn toward the camera and give me the cutest looks. Mom and Dad are going to have to keep the girls off of him when he gets older! H and T, you're going to have your hands full!
